About Us

Who We Are
Advantage Business Media (ABM) was formed in 2006 when the current management team partnered with Catalyst Investors to acquire Reed Business Information's New Product Division, based in Rockaway, NJ. The company is led by Theresa Freeburg, and George Fox, who has worked with prominent media groups including Reed Business Information and Cygnus Business Media.

ABM's heritage is built on a legacy of former publishers Cahners, Chilton, and Gordon Publications that dates back more than 40 years. In its short history as ABM, the company has successfully transitioned itself from a print-centric publishing company into digital-centric media organization, aggressively growing its electronic presence in the markets it serves.

Targeted Media
As a digital business-to-business information company, ABM provides relevant content to professionals across the life science, design engineering, manufacturing, and communications markets. The ABM brand portfolio includes magazines, websites, enewsletters, webcasts, conferences, and trade shows. Laboratory Equipment, ECN, Product Design & Development, R&D, Drug Discovery & Development, Pharmaceutical Processing, and Wireless Week are just a few of the titles comprising our more than two dozen industry-focused brands.

As a trusted editorial source for more than one million business professionals, we produce relevant editorial content and deliver it to our loyal subscribers in the formats that are most convenient to their individual needs. In turn, the long-standing affinity our readers have exhibited toward our brands allows us create effective integrated opportunities for advertisers to reach their targeted audience. In addition, ABM's creative services offerings include lead generation, market research, and custom marketing solutions.
