Teresa Alleman

Teresa Alleman is a senior chemist with the Fuels Performance Group at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. She has been with the Fuels Performance Group for the last 8 ½ years working on technical issues to reduce technical barriers to increase utilization of alternative and advanced fuels. Currently, Teresa’s research focus is in biodiesel and ethanol issues, particularly fuel quality, test methodology, and trace contaminant analysis. Teresa has provided critical input and data to support new ASTM methods and specifications in recent years. She is an active member of ASTM International, ACS, and AOCS. |

Dr. Jay Gandhi

Dr. Gandhi brings 20+ years of proficiency with virtually all analytical instrumentation and the techniques of Environmental, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical testing and research. Instrument experience includes Gas and Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Infra-red, Atomic Emission, and Inductive Coupled Plasma – mass spectrometer, among others. His work includes active participation in method development with governing bodies such as the EPA and ASTM. In his spare time, he enjoys teaching at the University of Houston as a visiting research fellow. |
